Suicide is the third leading cause of last among 15 to 25year olds. Suicide accounts for 12 percent of the fatality rate in the adolescent andyoung adult group. Males are more probably than females to follow through withsuicide. For every successful suicide there are fifty to one hundred adolescentsuicide attempts.
